The project aims to support the ratification process and implementation of the optional protocol to the convention on the rights of the child on the Involvement of children in Armed conflicts. The action will undertake the determination of the legal obligations arising from the ratification of the optional protocol, Raising the awareness of the general public and relevant stakeholders, dissemination of the optional protocol, building the capacity of governmental and non governmental stakeholders, training of educators from schools and NGOs in order to subsequently educate children. The action will create national resilience and protective frameworks and measures for children.
