Chairman of the Permanent Peace Movement Fadi Abi Allam participated in a seminar

organized by the Office of Women's Affairs in the Amal Movement (Lebanese Party),

entitled "women's right to political participation in the peace building, and develop solutions in light of the Arab revolutions",

at the headquarters office in Shiah.

 

Abi Allam said, during his speech, that women are the most affected by war and involved the largest bringing peace,

pointing out that  victims of the majority of conflicts in the world after the Second World War were women and children,

hence the importance of women, is to be proactive to contribute to conflict resolution and peace-building .

He invited on women to be a full partner in building the future, and not only being confined to its role in receiving calamities

as they are the most affected during the wars.
