A Training Camp for Permanent Peace Movement in "Ramlieh - Lebanon"

Permanent Peace Movement had organized, in collaboration with the Ministry of Displacement and the German Foreign Ministry, a summer camp for five days last week, under the title of "the new leaders - from knowledge to skills." About 35 participants between 16 and 19 years old, from Lebanese several schools, public and private, from all Lebanese regions, as well as some activists Palestinian NGOs  had Participated in the training camp, which was held in the “Ramlieh” , 
 
The camp focused on the development of character when participating youth leader, within the scope of the following  topics: education for peace, nonviolence, human rights as well as conflict resolution and reconciliation. Participants had practiced intensive workshops during their stay in the camp under the supervision of an integrated crew of trained specialists. The working groups yielded spectacular results in terms of identifying the issues that mean and how to address youth and advocacy.
 
Lebanese youth participating in the camp proved that they would have variety of capabilities if they had been given a space of freedom of self-expression and responsibility. Permanent Peace Movement is planning to have continues work with this group in addition to continue its efforts to sow hope in the area of civil peace-building and in the hearts of the youth generation Lebanese promising.
