This research is prepared for the Peace Building Academy project in Lebanon. It is a qualitative evaluation of existing studies of conflict and peace in the MENA region.
Furthermore, in this study there is an attempt at cataloging who is producing Peace Building researches mainly in Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Libya.

The research marks some existing gaps in the knowledge production process and in the output produced, and it recommends the acceleration of pace of writings in the field, in addition to increased efforts in networking and coordination among stakeholders, especially among state and civil society organizations and activists.
