Permanent Peace Movement organized a summer camp entitled “Attitude Skills and Knowledge in Peace Building” from 6 to 9 august 2014 for 4 consecutive days in Bkessin forest.
This camp is a continuity of the camp held last year under the title of “New Leaders: from knowledge to skills”
23 participants attended; they were coming from all the regions in Lebanon; Ehmej, Adloun, Aley, Richmaya, Rachaya, Barja, Chehim, Achrafieh…
Every day different workshops were held in the camp in very interactive and recreational methods; where youth expressed themselves freely and gave their opinions in the suggested topics with their continuous focus on their roles as youth in making a positive change within their communities and society.
They closed the camp with five projects about; the role of youth in enhancing a civil state; the civil marriage, preventing sectarianism, engaging youth political participation and the role of youth in preserving native mother language.
